BINGHAMTON, NEW YORK — Today, Empire State Voices launched a new ad in the Binghamton media market as part of its seven-figure paid media effort in New York’s 19th Congressional District. “Earned” is the fifth in a series of ads aimed at holding Rep. Marc Molinaro accountable for voting against the interests of working people and educating constituents on the Congressman’s record.

“Earned” features the story of Jan, a retired middle school teacher from Endicott, NY. Jan and her husband worked for many years to earn the Social Security and Medicare benefits they now rely on. They feel betrayed by Rep. Molinaro—who has repeatedly voted to cut access to both programs—and are calling on him to stop voting against the interests of hardworking New Yorkers like them.
“When Marc Molinaro holds Town Hall meetings, he looks us in the eyes and promises us he won’t touch our Medicare and Social Security,” said Jan, a resident of Endicott, NY. “Yet when he goes to Washington, he votes to cut funding for veterans’ healthcare and the Social Security Administration, making it harder for people like us to access the benefits we’ve worked so hard to earn. That’s the kind of duplicity that makes me believe that Rep. Molinaro isn’t looking out for regular New Yorkers like me.”
