Fighting for hardworking New Yorkers

About Us.

New Yorkers are strong, resilient, and hardworking people. We know how difficult it is to make ends meet, and we expect our representatives to fight for us in Congress. Unfortunately, several members of Congress in New York State, such as Representative Anthony D’Esposito (NY-04), have voted in ways that hurt us.

While we struggle to pay the high costs of health care, prescription drugs, housing, and utilities, Rep. D’Esposito has voted to help big corporations and the ultra-wealthy instead of us. Empire State Voices is here to advocate for policies that help our working families.

While we struggle to pay the high costs of health care, prescription drugs, housing, and utilities we need to get by, our representatives are choosing to side with big corporations and the ultra-wealthy. Empire State Voices is here to hold them accountable and fight for New York working families.

Watch Cristina from Nassau County share how Rep. D'Esposito's vote to increase housing costs would hurt families on Long Island like hers who are already struggling to afford rent.

Watch mother and daughter Olivia and Alexis from Uniondale share their struggles with affording the high cost of insulin and having to decide whether to choose between paying the bills and life-saving medicines. They call out Rep. D'Esposito's vote against a law that would have lowered the cost of insulin.
