NEW AD: Lifelong Republican Calls Rep. Molinaro’s Record of Putting Corporations Over New Yorkers “Outrageous”

BINGHAMTON, NEW YORK — Today, Empire State Voices launched a new ad in the Binghamton media market as part of its seven-figure paid media effort in New York’s 19th Congressional District. “Outrageous” is the sixth in a series of ads aimed at holding Rep. Marc Molinaro accountable for voting against the interests of working people and educating constituents on the Congressman’s record.

“Outrageous” features the story of Bob, a retired pastor and former lifelong Republican from Binghamton, NY. Bob relies heavily on Social Security and feels betrayed by Congressman Molinaro, who he believes is more focused on helping corporations and the ultra-rich than hardworking New Yorkers like himself.

“I became a Republican in 1969 and remained in that party until recently. The policies Marc Molinaro is pushing go against everything truly important to me,” said Bob, a resident of Binghamton, NY. “He is not fighting so that hardworking New Yorkers like myself can retire with dignity. He votes to give handouts to big corporations that are already doing fine while putting access to needful programs like Social Security at risk. Congressman Molinaro should stop indulging the rich and powerful and start looking out for us.”

I absolutely rely on Social Security to get by.
So it burns me up to see Congressman Marc Molinaro
voting for billions in tax giveaways to big corporations,
And even voting to protect rich corporate tax cheats,
Sticking us with the bill.
I find it outrageous.
