NEW AD: Single Mother of Two Calls Out D’Esposito for Voting to Raise Housing Costs for Long Island Families

NASSAU COUNTY, NEW YORK — Today, Empire State Voices launched a new ad in the Nassau County media market as part of its seven-figure paid media effort in New York’s 4th Congressional District. “Stay Here” is the fourth in a series of ads aimed at holding Rep. Anthony D’Esposito accountable for voting against the interests of working people and educating constituents on the Congressman’s record.

“Stay Here” features the story of Cristina, a single mother of two living in Nassau County. Cristina did everything she was ‘supposed to do,’ going to school, getting a good job, and raising her family in a safe neighborhood, but she’s still struggling to make ends meet. She’s speaking out about her frustration with Congressman Anthony D’Esposito, who’s voted to raise housing costs for families across Long Island.

“I do everything I can for my kids, but the cost of living just keeps going up,” said Cristina, a resident of Nassau County. “Congressman D’Esposito is supposed to advocate for the safety and well-being of our families. Instead, he’s voted to raise our costs and left us to fend for ourselves. He needs to prioritize all Long Island families and actually fight to make our lives more affordable.”

Went to school and got a good job.

I raised my family in a safe community with good schools.

But our rent keeps going up.

I don’t know how we’ll afford to stay here.

And our congressman, Anthony D’Esposito,
