NEW AD: Mother of 5 Calls Out Rep. Molinaro for Supporting Tax Breaks for the Wealthy Over Working Families Like Hers

BINGHAMTON, NEW YORK — Today, Empire State Voices launched a new ad in the Binghamton media market as part of its seven-figure paid media effort in New York’s 19th Congressional District. “Break” is the seventh in a series of ads aimed at holding Rep. Marc Molinaro accountable for voting against the interests of working people and educating constituents on the Congressman’s record.

“Break” features the story of Patricia, a childcare worker and mother of 5 from Vestal, NY. Patricia and her husband work incredibly hard to make ends meet but are still struggling to put food on the table. They feel abandoned by Representative Marc Molinaro, who voted for billions in corporate tax breaks and protected wealthy and corporate tax cheats while doing little to help working families like theirs.

“When you send somebody to Washington, you expect them to fight to make life a little easier for you and your family,” said Patricia, a resident of Vestal, NY. “That’s not at all what we’ve gotten from Marc Molinaro. Instead, he’s taken over $300,000 from special interests and has been fighting on behalf of corporations and the ultra-rich, leaving the rest of us to fend for ourselves. Families like mine work too hard to be forgotten about like that. We’re the ones that deserve a break!”
