PHOTOS: Mr. Rigs, “the Corporate Fat Cat,” Pays Rep. Molinaro Another Visit

BINGHAMTON, NEW YORK — Mr. Rigs, “the Corporate Fat Cat,” paid another visit to Rep. Molinaro's Binghamton office yesterday, along with Empire State Voices. Mr. Rigs was ecstatic to visit his best friend, Congressman Marc Molinaro, who has been working hard to improve life for “fat cats” like him.

Rep. Molinaro has already voted to give big corporations billions in tax breaks, voted to protect corporate tax cheats, and has not supported the Raise the Wage Act, which would increase the federal minimum wage for the first time since 2009. His Republican colleagues in the House are now pushing a package of tax bills that “would mostly benefit the richest one percent of Americans and foreign investors.”

“Congressman Molinaro claimed he would fight for working New Yorkers, but his voting record tells the story of someone far more interested in rigging the economy against us. Mr. Rigs might be full of hot air, but we need to make sure our representatives in Congress aren't,” said Maria Martinez, Executive Director of Empire State Voices. “We brought Mr. Rigs back here today in order to highlight one simple fact: Rep. Molinaro is fighting for ‘fat cat’ billionaires and corporations when he should be fighting for all of us.
